Reflection on and reaction to Pedestal Polka, by Maeve Henry.

Maeve Henry has been writing since childhood and is the author of six published children's novels. She has had poems published in a variety of hard copy and on-line publications, including Mslexia, The Cannon's Mouth and Sentinel. Maeve lives in Oxford with her husband and three children and works for a charity supporting asylum seekers and refugees.
