I enjoyed this poem, and loved the structure with the rhyming couplets – great technique adhering to the form whilst developing a narrative. Effective marriage of literature and contemporary life. Love the last couplet for sound, and rhythm, especially the final line, ‘hierophants of Thanatos, it is braver to be Yossarian.

The humor in this poem...and the poem that follows, is so rich and sly and the rhyming so sublte ("more than Eyore about war") - then the true meaning of the poems comes through with the ability to take my breath away.
