David Cooke's poems have appeared or are forthcoming in many magazines including Agenda, Ambit, Bête Noire, The Bow Wow Shop, The Coffee House, The Critical Quarterly, Cyphers, Envoi, The French Literary Review, The Frogmore Papers, The Irish Press, The Interpreter’s House, The London Magazine, New Walk, Orbis, Other Poetry, Pennine Platform, Poetry and Audience, Poetry Ireland Review, Poetry Salzburg Review, The Reader, The SHOp, Stand and Staple. His retrospective collection, In the Distance, was published in 2011 by Night Publishing. Workhorses, a collection of more recent work is due out from Ward Wood Publishing in 2012.
