Reaction to and reflection on The Speed of Light, by Anthony Marrian.

Anthony Marrian began life in Kenya, where he adopted a buffalo calf as a pet. His interests developed to include song-writing, designing and flying kites, tropical fish, bonsai and knitting! He is the resident chef in the family home. In January 2012 his elder daughter told him to get off his backside and start writing. So he did, writing one short story a week for three months. He has started work on a novel depicting a nursery school head as she struggles to do what she considers best for the children despite the ambitions of their pushy parents.
